FADO NIGHT

Hosted only once or twice a year, due to the difficulties in arranging performers flown in especially to perform at our venue from Toronto and Portugal. For a short moment let Maria and the Spago team transport your mind, soul and tastebuds to the cobble-stoned streets of Lisbon from where she was raised. The infamous Bairro Alto & Alfama Districts of Lisbon.  Feel the chills crawl up your spine when you hear the haunting sounds of a style of music that is uniquely Portuguese.  A haunting melody that can best be descirbed as a mixture of folk, blues and soul, sit back, relax, indulge in a luxuriously catered 5 course meal, paired with the best of Portugese Wines,  a sample of the very best that Historic Portugese Culinary Traditon &  has to offer.  A night not to be missed.

Lights off. Candles On. Silence. We sing the Fado...

MEDITERRANEAN NITE... DANCING. SHIMMYING. AWARENESS.

Hosted every 3months, join us for a special evening of entertainment. Be it Belly Dancing with a Special Mediterranean Menu, Argentine Tango NIght with a Menu influenced from South America, or a Gala Dinner with Latin & Ballroom Dance Performers, Spago is always trying to help raise awareness for various charities that touch our family, friends and yours. The Childrens Make A Wish Foundation. Kids With Cancer have been our Charities of Choice in the past.

JOIN US! Sunday June 28th, 2009 as our invited performers shimmy their way to rasing awareness of Lou-Gerrits Disease. A performance dedicated in Honour of our beloved friend Brian Eaglesham.
